Entry With No Name

I really couldn't think of a title for today's entry. I know it's been awhile since I wrote anything about my life. I even missed the hymn for the week.
Life has been an adventure seems like it. But I suppose the Christian life is an adventure of sorts. You never know what's around the corner and you don't know how you are going to react when the unexpected happens. Just know that God is there to get you through the storms of life.

I recently started reading The Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Ormitian(I probably spelled that wrong) and I must confess it is a hard read. Hard because it's so convicting and her words are straight from the Bible. I think every Christian wife or wife to be needs to read this book.

Another book every Christian man and woman needs to read is The Kingdom That Turned the World Upside Down by David Bercot. Bro David doesn't beat around the bush in his words. I think some Christians might be offended because they don't want to hear the truth about conforming to the world which is exactly what many Christians (myself included) have done. It is not an easy thing to admit but it is so easy to allow little things in your life that are of the world and then a little more compromise and then a little more.

I know there are things in my life I need to deal with in order to lead a more godly life. I don't want anything in my life that is displeasing to the Lord.
