This sweet book is the third book in Dorena Williamson's "FULL" series of books. Her other two books are ColorFULL and ThoughtFULL . I wrote reviews for both of those.
GraceFULL deals with homelessness. Hope's church friend Anna, whose family is from Syria are living in a homeless shelter.
I really like that Dorena handled the issue of homelessness in a sensitive way without making it stereotypical of homeless people.
Hope's mom explains that the shelter and their church helps to show God's grace without being judgemental.
As always in the back there is a Parent Connection with a memory verse, a devotion and questions to discuss with the children.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher (B&H Kids) in exchange for my honest review.
My life as plain conservative Christian wife and mom. My prayer is that this blog will be a blessing to all who read it. I will share the good and the bad because the Christian life can be hard sometimes.
