DIY Dollar Tree Tea Tray

I wanted to get a tea tray but nice ones are too expensive. I decided to do my own using all Dollar Tree items. All I did was get a 13 x 9 sheet pan and some stickers. In this case I used wall stickers because they were the prettiest. My daughter got some paints and Modge Podge, again Dollar Tree.
Basically all we did was painted the tray, let it dry and put the stickers on. We painted a couple of layers od Modge Podge, letting dry between layers. Easy Peasy!

  1. Dear Regina

Thank you so much for your visits to my "little space" and for your kind words.

Such a pretty tea time setting. Thank you for sharing.

    1. Thank you Teri! It's great to see you back blogging again.

  2. I absolutely love it!! What a fantastic idea and using the wall stickers was a nice idea.
I just might give this a try and maybe give them as special gifts to those I have a tea party for, just a thought. :)
It was so nice to visit here with you this afternoon as I have missed my time in the blogging community.
Thank you for your sweet visits and comments in regards to my dear mom and her health.
Mom is now home but still very weak and in need of much care. This is certainly long term.
    God bless you~~

    1. Thank you Debbie! I'm sorry your mom is still feeling weak. I'm sure some tlc from those she loves will help her regain her strength.

  3. What a clever idea Regina. I love it!

  4. Love it! I wouldn't have thought of using a baking tray. Where did you get your inspiration? :)

    1. Thank you Jessica! The idea came to me at Dollar Tree. I had looked at plastic plates but they weren't big enough. I happened upon the kitchen area and saw the small cookie sheets. I saw they were just the right size. I'm not artistic enough to paint actually flowers but I remembered the wall stickers on the other side of the store so I grabbed those. Oh and leftover over stickers are perfect for brightening up my plain boring dishwasher.
